Throughout my life, I’ve kept all of my “official” photos and identity cards. Student, military, and trade union IDs, a Komsomol (young communists) membership card, my passports — all were saved. The official requirement was to bring several images, so photographers made 4-6 prints on one sheet of photo paper.
The prints are always different — a different tilt, various shades, dissimilar sharpness and blurriness. In short, I become the identical twin to myself.
